A few months ago I took up watercoloring and it's been a growing obsession since then. My first attempts were a bit of a satire on my favorite tends in the painting/diy community of portraits inside of wreaths. Of course mine had to have a little geeky spin to it and it was a lot of fun. Thinking of revisiting soon.
My first set of watercolors was the Micheal's Artist Loft Fundamentals brand. They are super easy to use and I highly recommend them. Totally no commitment at $5 and I didn't feel like I HAD to make anything wall hanging worthy right off the bat. So much freedom, and that's what it's all about!
|Michael now has a little jerry curl action.|
This is a slippery slope and I fell pretty hard and fast.
