Adventures in Culinary School - Part 2

My view for the next six weeks. #lecordonbleu #lcbla

Another six weeks has flown by! Yesterday Foundations 2 wrapped up. We cooked cut potatoes, cooked rice, whipped eggs and stressed out. I can say that I cried out of frustration and refused to talk to anyone until I had calmed down. At the end of the day, I hugged our Chef and hoped to see him again. He had some unexpectedly nice things to say to me and I teared up. I'm gonna miss him, a lot.

This class really brought us into the basics and shot up like a rocket from there.

So many mother sauces.

My morning spent making two mother sauces. Now to make them into yummy food! #lcbla #lecordonbleu #kitchen #culinaryschool

The fruits of my labor. Today's class assessment and production. Stayed ahead of schedule too. #boomboom #lecordonbleu #kitchen #lcbla

Next week we start our baking courses with a lovely intro to baking class. Which means, time to buckle down on how I eat away from school and take a few extra steps a day.

Wish us luck!
